I’m not sure, but I think women (lots of moms) tend to keep talking in hope that SOMETHING they’re saying will penetrate! Certain people have said to me, “You’ve made your point” (with that look of irritation)–forcing me to say, “then, could you nod your head in acknowledgment at least??!!”
